Frontier Rangers PT

As an elite pilot enlisted in the Frontier Rangers, your daily orders are to protect the two Ranger Bases and any passing civilian traffic from pirate attacks, in a 1000x1000 Km world.

Use the jump drive to get around the sector, to quickly intercept hostile pirates and remove cover gaps in the sensor network with Sensor Probes. The sector is vast and the probes have a limited sensor range. Drop Sensor Probes strategically and replace any lost to pirates using them as target practice.

Land at either base to repair, reload and refuel. Keep an eye on your jump fuel gage, if you run you'll be taking the long way home.

Keep an eye on your sector map. With enough strategically placed sensor probes, you'll be able to get a heads up on any pirates operating in the sector.

Lose a base and you've lost an important point to repair and refuel. Lose both bases and its game over. How many days can you survive on the frontier?
